Shannon is a movement and body alignment junkie and owner of Barre Pose Movement Studio. She has been helping people to move more effectively, learn and create better relationships with their bodies for 15 years. Her journey has taken her from terribly constricting pointe shoes to insisting we all spend more time barefoot. Shannon received her Pilates certification in 2013 and continually studies, implements and learns from her mentors to increase her knowledge and stay current with the ever growing well of scientific knowledge regarding the human body.  Shannon believes that movement is a catalyst for change on the inside as well as out,  fitness can be fun and challenging at the same time, and everything is better when we can laugh while we do it. She is committed to creating safe, anatomically sound and detail oriented classes, constantly building and finding the “what is next”movement possibilities for each client, all while having  a bit of fun.
