FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
All payments must be received via our online store prior to the start of class and there will be no refunds for amounts paid for classes. Classes and class packages are not transferable.
WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?
We ask all clients to cancel class at least two (2) hours before the scheduled start time should they be unable to attend. Cancellations must be made through your MindBody account and rescheduled with no penalty. Cancellations made less than 2 hours before class will be considered late cancels. All late cancels and no-shows will automatically be charged $10.00 for that class, regardless of membership type. We hope this policy will keep our classes full and make them easier to get into. We want to keep the wait lists short, thereby making a better barre pose fusion experience for all our amazing clients. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation!
WHAT’S YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
You can come as often as you like! We recommend attending 4 – 5 classes a week.
Isometric systems like Barre workouts, unlike aerobics and boot camp, work by means of precise positioning. If students don’t get in the right positions, while they may get a good workout, they are not sculpting their bodies effectively. The better a student’s form, the faster the incredible results occur. The muscles need to be challenged by maintaining the contraction consistently throughout each exercise. Barre becomes more and more interesting the more you do it. The key ingredient that gives the workout its staying power is the precision with which it targets and sculpts your muscles.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I ATTEND BARRE CLASS TO SEE RESULTS?
Absolutely! You can attend a Barre class (NO antigravity yoga), but you must have a doctor’s consent. Read more about the benefits of Pre and Post Natal exercise here!
CAN I COME TO BARRE POSE FUSION IF I AM PREGNANT?
First-time clients should arrive 15 minutes prior to their first class to register in at the front desk and get your personal items stowed away. You will need to check-in before each class you attend so please try to be in the studio, ready to begin 5 minutes prior to start time. nstructors lock the doors when the class begins, so get there as early as possible! The outside doors will always be locked during class for the safety of our instructors and clients.
WHEN DO I NEED TO ARRIVE FOR CLASS?
Expect to feel the burn!! If you feel burning in your muscles, you are sculpting! Shaking muscles are an indication you are working hard. You may feel muscles you never knew you had! Be patient with yourself, Barre Fitness is challenging. Give yourself time to learn this new and effective way to sculpt your entire body. Mind body focus is essential for technique.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT MY FIRST CLASS?

Barre Pose Fusion provides everything you need for a fantastic workout! Wear clothing you feel comfortable moving in like yoga pants and athletic tops. Wear pants that cover to at least your knees. Try not to wear extra baggy clothing. It’s important for instructors to see your body alignment. Shorts/Skirts are not recommended. Barre is done in bare feet. For antigravity yoga, please be sure to wear a long sleeve top. You may wear “grippy” socks if you wish. You are welcome to bring a bottle of water, no sports or coffee drinks allowed.
If you are a new or existing client, click on Login In arrow to sign up through MindBodyOnline. Just create a username and password, select a class/package for purchase and you’re all set! If you want to purchase the unlimited monthly membership with auto-pay (3-month minimum commitment), click on the Contracts tab. If you plan on attending class 3-5 times per week the unlimited contracts are your best value. You decide how long you want to commit. Contracts are 3 month, 6 month or a 1year term. HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR CLASSES?
Barre is the quickest, most efficient way to change the shape of your body. Hollywood has embraced Barre workouts too. Today Barre is the hottest workout among celebrities, such as Kelly Ripa, Renee Zellweger, Drew Barrymore and the list goes on and on.
Although it is a hot new workout trend, Barre fitness classes are actually based on the Lotte Berk Method developed in the ‘70s. Lotte Berk was a professional dancer who, when faced with injury, developed her own method of fitness combining dance training, yoga and physical therapy principles. The amazingly effective method of fitness has made a huge resurgence during the past five years.
